Super-Strict Implications

چکیده

This paper introduces the logics of super-strict implications, where a implication is strengthening C.I. Lewis' strict that avoids not only paradoxes material but also those implication. Priest's negation-as-cancellation-based logic. Hence, we give cut-free calculus

Market Incompleteness and Super Value Additivity: Implications for Securitization∗

In an incomplete market economy, all claim cannot be priced uniquely based on arbitrage. The prices of attainable claims (those that are spanned by traded claims) can be determined uniquely, whereas the prices of those that are unattainable can only be bounded. We first show that tighter price bounds can be determined by considering all possible portfolios of unattainable claims for which there...

Rulemaking in Super-rtas: Implications for China and India

• The faltering Doha Round has led to a renewed focus on large regional trade agreements. There are two super-RTAs in the making in the Asia-Pacific and one in the Atlantic, all with rather ambitious negotiation targets, and presented as alternate means to reset global trade rules and take the multilateral trade liberalisation agenda forward. • So what does this development mean for large emerg...

Strict Basic

In this paper we solve a long-standing open problem by showing that strict superposition|that is, superposition without equality factoring|is refutationally complete. The diiculty of the problem arises from the fact that the strict calculus, in contrast to the standard calculus with equality factoring, is not compatible with arbitrary removal of tautologies, so that the usual techniques for pro...

STRICT-WEAK LANGUAGES. An analysis of strict implication∗

Modal languages were originally based on the possible-world approach proposed by Lewis, Carnap and others. In other words, modal languages were originally designed to talk about necessity (the box) and possibility (the diamond). Nowadays, modal languages (and certain natural extensions like dynamic languages, μ-calculus language, . . . ) are viewed as tools for analyzing the properties of Kripk...

On the relationship between strict and non-strict outranking relations

Outranking relations such as produced by the Electre I or II or the Tactic methods are based on a concordance and non-discordance principle that leads to declaring that an alternative is “superior” to another, if the coalition of attributes supporting this proposition is “sufficiently important” (concordance condition) and if there is no attribute that “strongly rejects” it (non-discordance con...
